Lancome basic Routine - Republish

29th December 2010 ~ 04th January 2011

I will be 30 next May and my skin never stop worrying me. I have combination of dry and oily skin which make my T-Zone very oily. To top it up, i have visible pores on my cheek and nose. Theres already lines on my forehead and my smile line noticeable. My skin tones is uneven, black spot and scar is all over my face.

I really concern over acne and wrinkles at the moment. So for this 1st week am trying to have a week without make up routines and Lancome product try out.

I never use Lancome before since their product is obviously expensive but my age and review that i read online make me wanting to try. So i headed to nearest Lancome counter and purchased basic skin care routines. Foam, toner and moisturizer.

Mousse Radiance ~ RM 100
I really love this mousse type of facial foam. All i need is one small pump and its enough to cover the whole face. When i read online descriptions, it was stated that this mousse able to melt make up and the sales girl confirmed that this mousse act like make up remover which i find it hard to believe. I usually neglect cleansing my make up except eye shadow. When i try it last night and this morning, i really surprised on how good it is. On a wet face the mousse is easily lather and from one small pump is enough to cleanse everything. My skins feel fresh without feeling tighten.
Tonique Radiance ~ RM90
I'm not fancy over toner, BUT it is necessary to the routines. Unlike other product i use before, tonique radiance have light scent and didn't give burning sensations to my face. It also didn't make my face dry.

Premordiale Night Skin Recharge ~ RM290
Thanks to xmas promotion, i am able to get premordiale night skin recharge and 7 other samples for free. Not sure bout the price but will definitely get one when my sample runs out. It's give instant moisturizer to my skin and penetrate easily while massaging my face. I woke up this morning feeling so happy when acne on my chin and forehead starting to shrink and less obvious than the day before.

Primordiale Skin Recharge ~ RM275
This morning i go on make up free routines and only went out with Primordiale Skin Recharge. This day moisturizer cream contains SPF15. Eventhough i don't really care with sun damaged at the moment, its good to know that my skin protected. Skin feel moist but not oily. My skin usually gets oily 2 or 3 hours after morning routines and shine all over by afternoon. At the moment only my nose area seems to get oily and its 11am when i typing this blog.

I am tired with all this breakout and scars. Heard that night routines is more important compare to day routines. I am trying out slowly so i can see the improvement and knows which product work well for my skin type. I hope everything goes well and let see the result after one week.

RESULT :

After one week of application my skin totally renewed. I am so happy since no more breakout and black spot less visible. My skin feel smooths and fresh. I plan to continue this basic routine for another one week before trying my new face lotion and emulsion.

From Krabi With Cinte

It was supposed to be solo trip for me until im excitedly informed my girlfriend about the trip and they decided to join. Our hotel was booked on 29th march 2011 at Ananta Burin Resort, http://www.anantaburinresort.com/ . I was so excited that the rate is cheap since they entering low season and i didnt check the weather. Later in the evening, while watching news on tv, i've got to know that south thailand declare disaster because of raining and flooding. Koh Samui, Sukrathani and Narhatiwat are places badly effected. Im praying so hard by the time we there things already back to normal. We plan to be in Krabi from 30th - 3rd May 2011.

We travel by van from Penang and its took 8 hours to get to Krabi. We bought our ticket at five star bus agency at Sg Nibong bus terminal which cost RM55 for one way trip. Since operator in penang cannot arrange our return ticket we have been advise to get our return ticket in Hatyai. Two days been reserved only for travelling and another two days for sightseeing. Because of the limitation, we decided to make the best of it and choose to join tour. Tours been booked with patty from http://www.krabitours.com/. Hong Island tour on day one and jungle tour on day tour. Both tour are full day tours. All we have to do is simply email patty all the information and payment can be made on tour day itself. Pretty convenient and they are friendly.

Solo Women Traveler

My travel experience limited to south east asia countries which is by far only to Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia. I never deny that going on vacation with family, friend or our significant others will be the most memorable experience we treasure but have you ever feel like leaving everything behind and lost yourself somewhere foreign.

I've been travelling solo since 3 years ago at the age of 27. My mom freaking out when i told her that i am going to Phuket Thailand ALONE. To her i still her baby and women shall not wandering around in foreign land all by herself. Its quite challenging to persuaded her and of cos consist promises of long distance call everyday during my duration in thailand just to give her peace of mind that i am doing fine all by myself.

Travelling solo is also one of my many ways to destressed myself or run away from everything in another word. I like the idea to be lost in a place where no one understand my language, eating different food, meet new people and make myself busy reading a map so i can clear my mind and forget whatever problem im having back home.

It was scary when i first do it. With no credit card, carrying cash, budget trip, all alone, foreign land and my head clouded by CSI scenes. I keep on asking myself : what if i lost my money, what if i got rape, what if there's ghost in my hotel room, what if i miss my flight, what if...and what if...I decided to stop thinking too much and go for it.

My first trip was a successed and starting from there im not scared to travel alone anymore. But bare in mind, it doesnt mean i didnt take any precaution. Danger is always around us and its important we try to avoid any possibility. When travelling alone as a women we usually double the possibility of attracting danger. We not as strong as guy to fight violence, we not good with direction which make us less focus with our surrounding, we easily panicking, not confident and look at stranger as potential criminal.

If you ever feel like me and you really want to do that solo trip, maybe you can consider few tips. If the country is really safe and crime rate is low, you shouldnt worry too much and enjoy your trip. With country reputable with high crime rate, you should focus to every detail and alert you found in the internet. I always hold to these few tips which is working for me so far :
1. Avoid back alley after 7pm and stay in your hotel if theres nothing much you can do outside. Hotel bar and pool will keep you busy and chances to meet new people.
2. Always go to crowded places so you wont be easy target.
3. Make sure you have money attached to your body. Put some in your pocket, another in your wallet and the rest you didnt plan to spend in the save deposit at the hotel room. So if you get snatched you still have money with you.
4. Make a photocopy of your passport
5. Leave your passport, money, air ticket, keys and everything important but you didnt use it for sightseeing in save deposit.
6. Get help as much as you can from hotel with transportation, tour and information.
7. Dont trust stranger easily, refused any invite to send you back or offer to take ride with them.
8. Carry condom with you, so if you get rape at least you can beg him to wear condom and save you from getting HIV. Stay safe.
9. Be nice to other and other people will be nice to you too.
10. Remember nothing is free in this world, when they offer you something for free they might want something from you in return.

I really hope that you can get some idea and tips from this page so you will be able to pick up your confidence, packed and go travel, SOLO!!!

First Time Hatyai Thailand

I was stressful at work and in need of weekend escape badly. Budget was tight and i only have few days to spend. Since i work and live in Penang at the moment, i am  considering Langkawi & Hatyai. I've been to Langkawi for at least 3 times now and never been to Hatyai. I prefer to go to beaches but wanting to explore new places too. After spending few days doing my research i decided to go to Hatyai since its cheaper and i never been there.

My trip start on Saturday morning with van from Prangin Mall Penang. Ticket was bought for RM60 (2 ways) with Five Star bus agent. Ticket can be easily bought with any bus operator . Van came a bit late since they need to pick up people from different places, my van supposed to come at 0830 but only arrived at 0900. The journey took approximately 4 hours with 10 people in one van.

Our driver is a thai who speak very little english. Its frustrating when he stop at Bukit kayu hitam to get our immigration card and didn't tell us much what we doing there. We are as good as wasting 30min and not exactly sure how long the process going to take or do we have enough time to eat. Toilet, food,  money changer and duty free shop available here so its  convenient for you to do your final arrangement before entering Thailand. Theres no hassle at Malaysia immigration but its another story at Thailand. After Malaysia immigration your driver will ask for RM1 which they need to pay for some fee at Thailand immigration. Thai immigration which is in Danok has at least 6 - 8  lane and it can be a long queue during busy weekend. The place is crowded with people, both thai and malaysian, heavy vehicle is everywhere and lot of people walk across over to Danok for shopping.

Journey to Hatyai took another one hour and van driver is nice enough to drop you anywhere you want. Just make sure you print your hotel name in thai to avoid confusion. For those who bought return ticket, you will first go to their office to change the ticket, confirm time and pick-up point. Here you also can buy ticket to Krabi, Koh Samui, Phuket, Bangkok etc in case you didn't plan to stay in Hatyai for long.

I reached Golden Crown Hotel Hatyai at about 1300 thai time. (Thailand is one hour earlier than Malaysia). The hotel is 10 minutes away from hatyai famous Market, Kim Yong. This Market open from 0800 - 1900 everyday and sell clothes, food, grocery, electronic, toys and almost anything. Everything is cheap and to get cheaper its good if you know how to bargain. Next to the market is a small road (niphat uthit 3rd, see map) which i have my lunch almost everyday during my 3 days stay. For muslim traveler, this is a tip for you who looking for halal food. If you not sure they sell halal food or not, look at the stall and search for green color star and moon. Its indicate that they selling halal food. Most of the seller wearing scarf so theres nothing much to worry except the selection is small. Chicken rice at this street cost THB350 = RM3.50, the nice thing is they also provide plain water for free. Besides food you also can find flower bouquet, fruits and vegetables here.

Besides Kim Yong market, Suntisuk market  is also famous. If you lost and found a street with lots of pink umbrella its mean you there. And here you also will find everything. Handbags, shoes, clothes, pirated cd's and so much more. Cd's cost THB60, clothes mostly start from THB250, panties 5 for THB100,snack 3 for THB100, massage for THB300 and internet for THB15 for one hour. If you looking for money changer, theres one that i always go which is at Yong Dee hotel at Santisuk Market. To see hatyai you also can hire motorbike. Just look for any guy who wear uniform with number attach to their vest and they will happily took you anywhere you want.

This is shopping trip to me and i didn't manage to go sightseeing around hatyai. Theres no monument, beaches, temple or park involve in this trip. I hope these information will help other first timer or solo traveller to  hatyai. Ops, btw...its good if you can speak chinese cos no one speak english here.
