We attend our pre-marriage course on 6th & 7th April 2013. I was looking like crazy on the internet for a pre-marriage course in English. All courses in Malaysia are conduct in malay and there's no place do it in English.
After a lot of searching, i found one info on JAWI website which stated that who ever want to do it in English can check with ABIM. So i go and check from ABIM website but unfortunately there is no info regarding pre-marriage course. Contact number on the website also doesn't seem to be working. I keep on looking and again stumble into JAWI website but this time there's phone no and contact person from ABIM included.
I was immediately contact Sis. Aishah, a Filipino lady who organize this for ABIM at 012-3500894. Alhamdulillah, i call her at the right time and they schedule for a course 2 weeks later which is happen every first weekend every month. Sis. Aishah then email me registration form which we have to fill in together with copy of passport/ID and photo which we only bring it on course day. They charge RM150 per pax for 2 days course which i think is pretty reasonable. Fee have to be paid before the course and we need to inform her once payment area made. All in all, everything went smoothly until course day. ABIM conduct the marriage course at Taman Cempaka, in Taman Melati. If you use public transportation like us, you can go to Gombak lrt station or Taman Melati lrt station. We take Gombak station which is around 10mins walk to Taman Cempaka.
